Hispanic Heritage Month
Hispanic Heritage Month 2024
Hispanic Heritage Month runs each year from September 15 through October 15, celebrating the histories, cultures, and contributions of Americans with ancestry from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America.
This year’s theme for Hispanic Heritage Month is “Pioneers of Change: Shaping the Future Together,” created by the National Council of Hispanic Employment Program Managers. In line with this theme, we will share resources for our members and the broader hospice and palliative care community. These resources aim to help providers better understand of hospice utilization trends among Spanish-speaking and Latino/x Americans and offer solutions to help improve access to high-quality hospice and palliative care for these communities.
We hope you learn from these resources, and that they equip you with the tools you need to act within your organization and community.
